How to Create Vintage Photo Effect Photoshop Tutorial

Step #1

Open the image in Photoshop. For example I’m using this image.  Here you can download from here

Step # 2

First we will apply color balance. go to Image > Adjustments > Color Balance (CTRL+B) and apply these value. Your Image Should Look Like pic “step 2a”

Step # 3

Now Create a new layer (CTRL + SHIFT + N) and fill the colour #DCE354

Next change the Blending mode at Multiply and set the Opacity at 75%

Your Image Should Look Like pic “step 3a”.

Step #4

Now Create a new layer (CTRL + SHIFT + N) and fill the colour #111842

Next change the Blending mode at Lighten, set the Opacity at 40% and fill at 55%

Your Image Should Look Like pic “step 4a”.

Step #5

Next we will add some texture.Open the Textures in Photoshop. For example I’m using this Texture. Here you can download from Here (pic “step 5”)

Here is the way i do it - pic “step 5a”.

Next change the Blending mode at Overlay, set the Opacity at 65% (pic “step 5b”)

Step #6

Final Step now back to the image layer we will apply some filter. Go to Filter > Render > Lighting Effects

How to Change A Car Colour In Just 2 Minutes Using Photoshop
Step : 1
Open the image in Photoshop. For example I’m using this image. Here you can download from here.
Step : 2
Create a new Layer, Select Brush Tool and choose 60px brush with this colour “004eff”.
Step :3
Now do some magic: Change the Blend mode of this new top layer to Hue.

Robot Face

Once the robot was complete, I added a glow effect on the upper left of the skull-plate. I selected a wide circle brush and set the hardness to 0 and 70% flow and threw a quick dot and set it’s layer style to Linear-dodge.

I figured the blue/black colour palette would be pretty popular among other entries so I wanted to change it to something else. I opened channel mixer and tweaked it until the dark blues turned to the gold/plum colour that I have now. Then I just layered a quick title and a signature and I’m done.
